Vintage German Porcelain Cobalt Vase with Federal Building & Post Office, Augusta Maine
Full color design on the front shows the historic structure built in 1886-1890; it is one of Maine's finest surviving examples of Romanesque Revival architecture and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.  It was designed by Mifflin E. Bell, the supervising architect of the US Treasury Dept.
Vase measures 4 1/2" tall and has double handles.  It is in very nice condition with rich colors and deep cobalt glaze.  There are no chips, cracks, or crazing, just some very light wear to the gold trim.  Please look at the photos and feel free to ask any questions you might have.
