Vintage Yellow Moonstone Cabochon 1920's Brooch Dress Clip
For your consideration:
This beautiful dress clip has unusual flat-backed, yellow moonstone glass cabochons prong-set in gold tone metal.  Textured gold tone leaves complete the design.  Dress clips appeared in the 1920's as ornamentation for the neckline of a dress.  By the 1940's, they had been completely replaced by the brooch.  They are a window in time, and a glimpse of fashion in another era.

~  This clip is unsigned, as expected.
SIZE~
This brooch measures 2" tall x 1- 3/4" wide at the widest point
CONDITION~
This dress clip is in Excellent Vintage Condition!  There are no missing or discolored rhinestones.  No green disease (verdigris).  The clip back is in good working order.  There are no repairs or alterations.  Pre-loved & ready to wear!
