Vintage Grapevine and Grapes Scarf Slide or Ring

Description

This appears to be a vintage grapevine pattern scarf slide. I thought it was a ring, but I do think it is a scarf slide. It is hefty in weight so it might be brass. It is that color.
The inside diameter from front to back is 3/4" and side to side it is 5/8".
It was in my late husband's things. I know he had it for many years, and I believe it is from the 1960s or so. I cannot find anything like it, so it is just what I surmise from knowing he was in Scouting and from California so it may be connected.
Sold As Is only because of age.  No markings inside or outside. 11-1/4 inches high.
