    Description

    On September 14, 1929,
the USPS issued a 2c carmine rose stamp commemorating the
    "Battle of Fallen Timbers".
This listing is for a First Day Cover with a single stamp from that same issue.
The cover was first day canceled in Waterville, Ohio,
features an official Anthony Wayne black PO cachet,
    and is addressed to:
    Mr. Floyd O. Strong,
    5451 W Romaine Street,
    Los Angeles, Calif.
    Measures 6" x 3 1/2".
It is unsealed in very good condition with no rips, tears, or wrinkles,
and would make a nice addition to any early FDC collection.
    noted cachet is slightly blurred
(please see photos of condition below)
