    Mason's Ironstone Chinoiserie Staple Repaired Tea Cup & Saucer C. 1815-1825
    Rare Mason's ironstone tea cup and saucer. Decorated with Chinoiserie landscape panels over a peach background. With gold gilt flowers and highlights. Unmarked. Circa 1815 to 1825.
    Has minor wear to the gilding and minor crazing typical of ironstone. The cup has an in manufacture firing separation on the inside above the foot with associated discoloration. The saucer has been broken and staple repaired.
    The cup measures approximately 4 1/4 inches wide including the handle x 2 5/8 inches tall.
    The saucer measures approximately 5 3/4 inches wide.
    This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
