    Description

    For sale is a set of three (3) Mason's Ironstone Bowls in the Friarswood pattern. Made in England, these bowls feature a 2 1/2" wide blind embossed rim of oak leaves and acorns (with their own rich symbolism) with a scallop edge around a central floral pattern. A gold sunflower, a red rose and a dark purple rose are central to the bouquet with heavy brown foliage and green accents , Each bowl measures approximately 8 3/4" wide and stand 1 3/4" high at the outer rim; the central bowl is 5 1/2" wide.
    Each of the pieces is in very good condition without damage or any visible utensil marks. There are three manufacturing spots in the glaze on the underside. There is general fine crazing overall which can be seen on inspection.
