Mason's England Ascot Sauce Tureen w/ Attached Underplate Brown Multi Colored
This is a sauce tureen made by Mason's in England.   It is from the Ascot pattern and features a brown floral design with the center floral design hand painted with yellows and green highlights that are all glazed over.  The piece stands about 6" tall when put together. The tureen is 6" across or 8 1/2" from handle to handle.   The underplate is 8 3/4" from handle to handle.  It has a leaf design at the handles.  It was made for a mint sauce, hollandaise or any warm sauce.
Set is in excellent Condition with no chips, nicks or cracks. The lid has some crazing to the glaze but I did not see any crazing to either the body or the liner.  Please view the photos for a better description. I have other neat things listed.  Please view
