    Description

SIGNED BY THE PHOTOGRAPHER IN THE BORDER. YOU CAN COVER THE SIGNATURE WITH MATTING IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT. TAKEN AT THE ROXY IN HOLLYWOOD
This is a original 8x10 color glossy photo printed from the slide/negative. Printed at a real photo lab, not a home computer/inkjet. These photos were taken BEFORE the band was signed, some with original guitarist Tracii Guns. Includes a Certificate of Authenticity with the text below:
Chris Amouroux published fanzines Beyond the Blackout & Endless Party in the 80's which covered the music scene of Goth, Punk, Metal & Glam. Interviewing and photographing bands who were local and those who visited from distant lands. From small clubs like the Troubadour, Whiskey Au-Go-Go, The Roxy, Raji's, Club Lingerie & The Cathay de Grande...these photographs bring a piece of rock & roll history for collectors and fans to enjoy.
These photos were hidden away for decades and are now available for purchase. Printed from the original negatives/transparencies, these high quality prints show a moment in time for music lovers.
It was an unusual era in rock music when Chris Amouroux began shooting photos for her fanzine
    Beyond the Blackout
in 1984. The punk scene still overlapped with the goth and deathpunk subcultures, and the previously hidebound denizens of the hard-rock and metal worlds were starting to grudgingly acknowledge the influence of underground music. It was a nexus in time when Nick Cave was still opening for The Cramps, and a then-unknown Guns N' Roses were supporting their idol, Johnny Thunders. Most of the local photographer's images of such disparate figures as Lemmy Kilmister, John Waters, Specimen and Girlschool were seen only in the ephemeral black-and-white pages of her zine, but they reappear in their proper, fully garish color in her new exhibition, "Beyond the Blackout: The Color Photos of Chris Amouroux."
