St. Louis, MO Ticket July 2, 1991.
I was 17 when my bandmates and I attended this show. Unfortunately, I was the second or third person to get up on the stage. There is video of this somewhere. I used to have a copy but lost it.
The Riverport Riot took place on July 2nd, 1991, at the Riverport Amphitheatre (now called Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre) in Maryland Heights, Missouri (near St.Louis) during a concert by American Hard Rock band Guns N' Roses. It is also known as the "Rocket Queen Riot".
The band was not allowed to play in the city againi until July 27, 2017, on the Not in This Lifetime... Tour, as they were banned from playing St. Louis because of the incident.
