    Description

This is our 2005 Lexus RX 330 we have owned for about 10 years. The most reliable car we have ever owned. Starts and runs like new.
Cosmetically good with some issues as to be expected for a 16 year old car. First the dashboard is very cracked. This was a problem with many Lexus models in the mid 2000s and Lexus eventually agreed to replace these dashes.. We did not want the hassle of being without the car for up to a week so we purchased a made for this vehicle carpeted dash cover that looks really nice. Once installed we forgot all about the condition of the dash. Some small areas of body paint is chipping and peeling on the outside but from a few feet away hardly noticeable. Comes with a class III trailer hitch installed with 2" receiver. Only used to pull cargo trailer for daughter's college furniture and her numerous moves at LSU. Also use trailer for my Honda CR250 dirt bike, and my 70 pound canoe. Never pulled anything heavy or for long distance trips. (LSU about 70 miles away). Interior leather and carpeting look very good for a 15 year old car. Back seats were only used maybe 5% of the time. Non smoker owners, no accidents, clear title in my name in my hands.
At about 75000 miles the timing belt was replaced at Lexus dealership in Kenner due to recall. Belt pulley came apart causing belt to pop. We learned of the Lexus recall that was for belt pulley but if belt scarred the timing belt housing the entire timing belt was to be replaced. You can look up info about this recall that did not cost me a dime.
Couple of other issues worth mentioning. Rear hatch wiper does not work. You can hear motor working but wiper blade arm is not moving. Radio and 6 CD player works fine but sound comes out of speakers very distorted, particularly  at higher volumes. Sounds like a blown speaker sounds but I suspect it is coming from the radio unit and not the speakers.
Rear tires are about one year old and due to Covid lack of driving so rear probably tires have about 3,000 miles on them. Front tires probably have 35,000 miles. No tire patches or repairs whatsoever.
Pick up only in Mandeville, La. about 35 miles north of New Orleans. Please ask question and I may also be able to provide pictures of specific areas of the car you want to see. We are simply selling as we purchased a newer lower mileage 2013 RX350 in white! This is how much we liked owning this car. New one looks like a clone of this car.
Price is firm for at least a few weeks as we are in no hurry to sell and it seems to be a good market for used car sellers. This is a very sought after car due to it's reliability and the white/tan is sought after color combination. Would be an ideal car for your kid heading off to college!
