1980 Mercedes 300SD family owned for 23 years, the second owners.
The Mercedes was purchased new November 14,1979 at Loeber Motors, Chicago, Illinois. Shortly thereafter the Mercedes traveled to the owners second home in Palm Springs California. The Mercedes was first serviced December 3, 1980, at VIP Motors in Palm Springs, the local Mercedes dealer. The mileage was 2,071. The Mercedes stayed in Palm Springs until moving to Lakeside California in 2004 where it is still located. This is a very solid Southern California car.
The white paint and tan interior are in excellent condition. The 5 Cylinder Turbo Diesel runs great. The A/C and climate controls work perfectly. All the door locks and windows work. The dash has no cracks. The tires and brakes are good. The spare tire and First Aid Kit are untouched since new. The Mercedes was always serviced by dealer or qualified professionals. It is smog exempt. It was always garaged or parked under a carport.
This 1980 Mercedes 300SD is a fine classic automobile in excellent condition.
